restarting my canon hawke in dragon age 2 isn’t helping

Okay i know the writers pretty much came out and said that the Warden is done and there’s probably slim to zero chance they’ll show up in DA3

but some sad obsessed part of me still clings to hope. T vT I love my baby, I just want to see her one more time kickin butt. No matter what though, it’s going to be a looooooong 1.5 years. I will watch that trailer until it is tattooed on the inside of my eyelids

(also i just wanted to try to draw billowing cloaks. and that swanky armor i see around a lot. mistakes all around, i kinda gave up after a while when i couldn’t find refs and just winged it. badly)

Three weather-related setbacks and about 23 redraws between two characters while working on this and i am still stubbornly plugging away at this. to what end? i don’t know. so much anatomical horribleness here, and i still don’t really know if revolvers are the best idea for fergal but it’s a matter of pride now i have to finish this in some shape or for m i h av e t o .. ….. .. . ….  …..

it was kinda nice to not have any preconceptions of anything I was sketching becoming something important, though. Actually got a pretty good pile of sketches done, even if 75% of it was rubbish. The stuff that made the cut is still pretty boring. And wonky. Oh god is it wonky. 

I may be obsessed with dwarves. Or I may not. I may also be thinking of co-opting Sibil and putting her in the story with Heron? As a trusty sidekick. Or girlfriend. WHO KNOWS. I just like the way they look together :o Also some additional sketches of Hawke and Toulouse and Ragusa blah blah

OKAY you know what. Forget it I’m posting it anyway, because i like how the colors came out and the poses kind of. Alistair’s is still pretty wonky but
